I’m a journalist, edit producer and playwright. I live in South-east London and always have. I’m interested in the ways people think. I have a cat called Kiki who is a selfish bastard, but he gives good cuddles when he’s in the mood. Eight years ago, after seven years at a national paper, I was made redundant and instead of re-applying for a different job I chose to go freelance – I started off writing the same stuff for the same people but then I started to think about how I might stretch myself. I started reviewing more theatre, I signed up for a novel-writing course, I worked in TV.
