Anyway. There was an election! A Labour landslide. It feels a bit Olympics-y doesn’t it? Remember when everyone smiled for a brief two weeks in 2012? Like that, like maybe we don’t have to be an international laughing stock, like maybe things will be ok, stable, even a bit boring for a while. I’d take boring, wouldn’t you? Forget Cool Britannia, I’ll take Bore Brittania over that.
